You cannot actually reduce the number of rows and columns - you can
hide them, but they are still there.
Hope this helps.

When I press Control End the cursor goes to final maximum cell of the
worksheet. I can't understand why. I have tried deleting the rows and columns
but that doesn't work. I am running a conversion program that reads every
active cell. In the above scenario, it takes it too long to read upto row
65k+, and for each column. So, how can I reduce the actual size of the
worksheet to say 10 columns and 100 rows? Hiding/Grouping doesn't work.
Thanks.
