Default mutiple criterias formula

Try this:

=IF(OR(A1={"blvd","st","crt"}),"Yes","")

Copy down as needed.

how many criteria's can one formula have?

Depends on the particular function and what version of Excel you're using.

The OR function can have up to 30 arguments in versions of Excel prior to
Excel 2007. In Excel 2007 it can have up to 255 arguments.

The above OR function has just a single argument although you might think it
has 3.

If you're asking about "how many" you probably should use some type of
lookup formula but you'd have to give us *all the details*.
