Default AutoSave

But AutoRecover is not the same as AutoSave.
It'll save info if the machine crashes, but if you close without saving
you'll lose the data.

This was taken from the excel help function f1 and typr in autosave

On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Save tab.
Select the Save AutoRecover info every check box.
In the minutes box, specify how often you want your Microsoft Office
program
to save files.
Note Do not use AutoRecover as a substitute for regularly saving your
work
by clicking Save on the Standard toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and
options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, click
Customize on the Tools menu, and then click the Toolbars tab.).
