Default Formatting two colors in the same cell

Don't give up, you can do this in 2007!

Select the cell(s) and right click and choose Format Cells, then choose
Fill, Fill Effects. Pick a Color 1 and a Color 2, try the Vertical style and
see if you like that. This is actually a gradient fill but it does produce
two colors for the fill, and a mix as they merge.
