Did you save them directly to floppy or just copy from Hard Drive to floppy?

Are you trying to open directly from floppy or have you copied to Hard Drive
first?

A very good rule is to never save to or open from removable media.

Corruption can occur and quite frequently does.

Removable media is fine for transporting and backing up files.

Do your saving and opening to/from hard drive.
