ReadyBoost is kind of a Vista thing. It allows you to attach a 'thumb
drive'
type USB device to the system and Vista will use it for swap file and
other
temporary operations. Faster than going to the hard drive. Wikipedia has

If (when) you end up with a Vista system, look for USB devices marked as
suitable to use for a ReadyBoost device. Be sure to read the section on

be able to handle Vista Ultimate. Actually pretty stable system. Has
Office
2007 on it also: Intel Core-Duo 6600 (2.4GHz) with 2GB RAM along with
4GB
flash as "ReadyBoost" RAM.
