Default How do I format cells to show date in Australian not US format?

Excel uses the date format you have specified in your Windows Regional
Settings. Go to Control Panel, and change your regional settings.

Regards,
Fred.

I have the language set on Eglish (Australian) but trying to format cells
to
show date as 08-May -2008 for example.
NormallyI would type 08/5/08 and it would formated as above. But now if I
type that in it thinks I have typed month in first - like US mehtod. How
can
I change?
