I filled a 10 row by 5 column rage with numbers 1 to 20
So there were lots of duplicates.
If I selected the whole range, the Remove Duplicates fond nothing but if I
selected only one column all was well. it deleted dupes
After experimenting, I found that if an entire row in the range was
duplicated, then the tool removed it.
That seems to be how it is designed to work.
