Default No Range on data

I tried changing the series data like you said. I entered:

=SERIES(,{710004,7170002},{12.5,14.29},1)

Just trying to get two part numbers with two values. When I graph this,
the horizontal axis is still a range (0, 20000, 40000, 60000, 80000). I just
want the horizontal axis to have only the numbers I put, and not a range.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris Ritchey

You could edit your series formula so it looks like this:

=SERIES("Title",{"A","B","C","D"},{1,2,3,4},1)

Or you could do it bit by bit, entering ={"A","B","C","D"} in the
'Horizontal (Category) Axis Labels' Edit dialog, and ="Title" and ={1,2,3,4}
in the 'Legend Entry (Series)' dialog. It's more complicated and less
intuitive in the Excel 2007 dialogs, isn't it?

Im trying to create a chart that uses just the data that I enter, not a
range. For example, I have part numbers like 717000, 717003, 717009. I
don't want the entire range, I just want those three part numbers. I
never
had this problem with older versions of excel, but 2007 I just can't seem
to
figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
