Default Address number changes to calendar format

If you format the existing data as text then any that are dates should
display as the equivalent date number (e.g. 39757). You can then use find
and replace (Ctrl +H) to replace the numbers with '5/11

I tried that and all it did was change the 5-Nov to 35493 or something -
that was the first thing i tried hence my post here. Thanks anyway, but i'm
looking to get a fix that will convert the 500 lines of mixed 5/11 and 5-Nov
entries that now exist, lol. I suppose it will give me something to do until
close of business on Friday... I thought there might have been another way
to convert the dodgy data.

Either format the cell as text or start the entry with '5/11.

Whenever i input house address eg 5/11 Smith St, the 5/11 changes to 5-June.
How do I stop this and/or change the 5-June back to 5/11?
