Right now I have a fresh data set extracted from some database and sent to
me
in an excel file. The date field is in the current format: YYYY-MM-DD. I
need it to be in MM-DD-YYYY. So, I thought I could achieve this by simply
highlighting the cells and changing the format to the correct date format.
However, when I do this nothing changes unless I actually double click in
the
cell...then it will re-format the data how I want to view it.
In addition to this problem, when I try to import my data set into Access,
it will only import the cells that I double click in to change it to the
date
format. The others are not getting pulled in because Access isn't reading
them as a date.
Is there any way to re-format all the cells without having to double click
in each one?
Any help would prove to be beneficial.
Thanks,
Jason
