Default transfer a column into a row?

Highlight your range of cells in the column (just the range...not the entire
column). Ctrl+C to copy.
Then right-click on the first cell of the row you want these values in.
Select Paste Special.
Check the box for Transpose.
Click OK.

Note: The cell that you want to paste to cannot be part of the copied
range.

Is there a way to copy a column of cells and transfer them into a row
of cells?

I get a list of numbers that come to me in a column and I have to
transfer them into a row on another spreadsheet. Right now I'm doing
it manually it would be nice to be able to automate the process
because they all follow the same sequence.
