Default Copy and Paste Anomaly

There are no "hidden columns". It's weird. If I <CTRL copy let's say two
rows and paste in, then I <CTRL copy 6 rows and paste in over a broader
area, it's ok. But the next time I do only 2 or 3 rows and <CTRL copy and
highlight a broader area it repeats. It seems as though if I <CTRL copy in
less rows and data than the time before, it repeats. But if I <CTRL copy in
more rows than the last paste of lesser rows, it's fine.

Ive never heard of a bug like that before. Although I have seen it happen
where columns are hidden when copying the data. Hidden columns extend the
copy area. Not sure if that's it, but that's one possibility.

The weirdest thing was happening to me today. I had to copy data out of one
spreadsheet, using <CTRL and highlighting the cells to copy from different
records. Then when I pasted them into my other spreadsheet, I highlighted a
big enough area to copy, usually larger of course to accomodate for the
copied data, and the data repeated on me. Now this was inconsistent...meaning
sometimes the data repeated on my paste and then other times it did not.

Does anyone have a clue as to why the data would repeat??? Is something
funky going on with my clipboard??? Do I need to completely clear the
contents out of my clipboard??? And if so, how would I go about doing that???

Any thoughts???

Thanks in advance for your review and help.
