In xl2003 the custom error bar reference will take a named range. Are you
using xl2007?

You could always use a static range for the error bars and update that
range.

cellrefence to $b$9. So it is not updated.

For the automatical update graph I use defined names. I also made names
for the error bars. But it didn't work.

So : is there a way for automatic plotting of error bars ?
