Default converting files to excel

If you have some OCR software (like TextBridge, or OmniPage, which are
sometimes bundled with a scanner), then you can use that. Another way
is to highlight the data in the PDF file, then CTRL-C to copy, click
over to Excel and CTRL-V to paste. You will lose a lot of the
formatting, and it might look a bit strange if there are multiple
pages using headers and/or footers in the PDF file, and images are not
treated very well. There can be a lot of manual messing about with the
data to get it right.

Hope this helps.
