Default Converting PDF Files to Excel

AFAIK you need the Adobe Acrobat program which has to be paid for, not the
free Acrobat reader. The reader does just that, you can't alter or export
anything, just view it.
There are a couple of sites offering free trials, I don't know how good the
are,

Hi All,

Just reading through the messages it seems that I have
to get a text converter program of sorts in order
to convert adobe files to excel. I have tried copying
and pasting from adobe and then trying to convert text to columns
in excel except it is then pasted into excel as a picture rather than
text and then seems not to be able to be converted. If
anyone knows of a simple solution it would be greatly appreciated.
Otherwise, if there is not a known function to convert does
anyone know of a free on line conversion that might be available
as we have massive pdf files we need to work on today.

Thanks so much,

Luci :)
