It should sort with the cells.
Have you changed the properties to 'Move and size with cells' ?
Right click shape or picture and Format Picture or AutoShape, and the
properties tab. Select the 1st option button.

I find that if I sort, the graphics don't stay with the cell over which I
had floated it. Is there a way to make this more absolute, or some sort of
reference, in a simple worksheet, to display a flag when the state is "ON"
or "NS"?
