Default Excel alert/Notification

Hi - Can someone help please?

I have a worksheet where a column adds 2 years to another column to auto
calculate a renewal period - is there any way to set excel up so that when
this date is reached an email or notification is sent to a specific
person/people? I sadly work with Lotus not outlook, in case this makes a
difference. :-(
