Default pivot tables -how do I show a percentage if I only have figures

Dear Sue,

I hope this helps you.

Asuming in your raw data that you have the split of m and and f or
indicitual students.

You need to make a new pivot or amend your pivot to the following format:

sen code school m f
A Aschool 75 25
Bschool 65 35
B Cschool 25 75

What you do is that you put the male and female results in the data columns
and then you need may need to use calculated fields in the pivot table.

This is not a good explaination but I hope it helps.

You can send me the file if you like to martin_fishlock @ yahoo.co.uk
(without the spaces) and I will have a look.

i have a spreadsheet that shows a sample of pupils listing SEN coding and
category discriptions.

I need to summarise the data to produce a table which shows the % of pupils
in each sen code by school and gender and total on the female / male.
