Default Excel 2003 being backward compatible

In almost all circumstances, a workbook created in Excel 2003 will work fine
when opened in Excel 2000. There is marginally less compatibility between
2003 and 97. Both Excel 97 and 2000 can open files created in Excel 2003,
but features added in 2003 will not be available in 97 or 2000.

The short answer is that you shouldn't have any (serious) problems.

Does anyone know if there would be a problem using a file in Excel 97 or
2000
that was created in Excel 2003? The file I'm looking to use has a few
simple
macros built into it, and I was wondering if this may cause any troubles.

Thanks
