Default "IF" Formula

I need help with a formula (not necessarily "IF") which will help me display
the following results:

Analyst Remarks
A ON PROBATION
B
A ON PROBATION
D
C ON PROBATION
B
B
D
E EDITOR
F
G TEAM LEAD
F
E EDITOR
G TEAM LEAD
G TEAM LEAD

I would like to have a formula in the "Remarks" column where if it detects A
in the "Analyst" column, ON PROBATION will appear. If the "Analyst" column
shows G, TEAM LEAD will appear. Similarly, if "Analyst" column is E,
"Remarks" column will show EDITOR.

Thanks,
Karen
