GS, thanks for the info. I am familiar with it but for some reason it is
confusing to me. I am aware of the different areas (connect, refreshdata,
disconnect, ...) but it is what goes into each one that is puzzling me. I
am using vs2005 (vsto), vb2005, and sql2005. I am needing to put together an
excel addin for stockquotes. There is a sql server 2005 table which is being
updated frequently and that is where the addin info is coming from. The user
will have at least one stock symbol (ex: MSFT), or many stock symbols, on a
worksheet that will need to be updated frequently.
How do I go out to the table and get the info and in which area does it go?
I have seen and read the different msdn and support articles but for some
reason I am still not catching on to it. Once I see it starting to come
together, then I will probably grasp it.
Any assistance is appreciated.

Hello. I am wondering if anyone has developed an RTD for Excel using visual
studio 2005 and sql server 2005? I am finding practically zero newsgroups,
blogs, or much else on the subject and I am lost in the RTD process.
So if anyone out there has RTD experience, please let me know.
