Default Default font and colour on startup

Click FORMAT in the menu and select STYLES and then modify the NORMAL style
for modifying defalut fonts, borders, alignment, patterns and number format.

As far as adding a non-standard color to the default color pattern, a macro
in a Personal workbook that adds the color might be the easiest way

Hi,

Can anyone tell me the easiest way to set the default font type and add a
non-standard colour to the standard colour palette so that it appears each
time I start Excel?

I am getting fed up with doing the same things each time I load Excel!
Would a macro e best or is there an easier way?

Any help gratefully appreciated!

Thanks,
