In your original post you said
I've done th {} at each end but it doeasn't work.
If you actually did that, do this:
remove the {} and then hold down the ctrl + shift keys and touch the enter
keylet go.
Now you should see the {} and the formula should work.

But it isn't. I'm trying to count the cells on page 1 that have H in
coloumn J, but also contain A10 in coloumn D.
