i admit i have no idea what this formula does, but when i copy

= -9e-11*A2^2 + 3e-5*A2 - 0.011

into a cell & hit enter, it turns it into:

= -0.00000000009*A2^2 + 0.00003*A2 - 0.011
which shows a value of -0.011.

(i have no idea if it actually means the same as the first one!)

and if i try to put some parentheses around stuff, it also tells me
that 9e is an error & needs to be changed into E9.

just to validate the OP's problem.
