The best I can think of is an if statement used in Totals cells:
=3DIF(A1=3D1,TEXT(SUM(D1:D5),"$ 0.00"),IF(A1=3D2,TEXT(SUM(D1:D5),"=80
0=2E00"),""))

Anyone have a better idea? Anybody? Buehler? Buehler?
