Thanks for the speedy reply.
But I can't seem to get that formula to work. Does it multiply all
thier
hours? I just want to get the hours for that specific day. So if I
enter
the
Name Matt in cell AA and the date (uh.. 5/7/07) in cell AB, then in
cell
AC
it would say his hours and in AD it would be his OT hours.

One way
=sumproduct(($a$2:$a$222=ab1)*($b$2:$b$222=aa1)*c$ 2:c$222)

Hi there, I am trying to create a formula to search through a bunch
of
data
and I can't seem to figure it out. Here is what my file looks like
(this
file
cannot be edited or sorted as it is used by other programs) There is
not
column heading/names.

A B C D E
date name hours OT hours vacation hours

The file is quite big. I want to use a vlookup to find a certain
persons
hours on a certain day. So if I type a name into Cell AA and the
date
in
Cell
AB, I would like to have their hours in Cell AC, OT hours in Cell AD
and
vac.
Hours in Cell AE.

I've looked at a few other posts but I cant figure out how to add 2
vlookups
in the same function.

Any help would be awesome
