Default Splitting cell contents

You can leave the wrapping on. Locate the point in the text that you want to
break and insert an ALT-ENTER at each point.

A cell contains multiple phrases and sentences which makes the cell
extremely long.

For example:

And so, my fellow americans: ask not what your country can do for you
- ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the
world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can
do for the freedom of man.

Other than using "Wrap Text", how can I make each phrase or sentence
start at the left edge of the cell?

For example:

And so,
my fellow americans:
ask not what your country can do for you
ask what you can do for your country.
My fellow citizens of the world:
ask not what America will do for you,
but what together we can do for the freedom of man.
