Default 2002: Unable to delete Normal_xyz style inherited from workbook(xy

a)
When copying a sheet from workbook(A) to workbook(B),
sometimes style Normal_A
appears in workbook(B).
This "sometimes" seems to be connected to
new or changed styles in workbook(A).

It seems that *always* when the styles "Normal"
are different in the two workbooks, this happens.
But not otherwise.

b)
Sometimes it is possible
and sometimes it is *not* possible to delete this
style Normal_A in workbook(B).

It seems that
when the style Normal_A
equals the EXCEL default style "Normal",
the style Normal_A can be deleted.
But not otherwise.

I hope this is correct and helps someone.

Thanks to Dave Peterson,
who on the 10/6/2005 in
Is it possible to change the default number format in Excel?
gave an invaluable hint for the solution.
