Default How do I sort a list of names

Click DATA in the menu & select SORT. In the dialog box select the name
field as the sort field and click OK.

Then click on DATA in the menu and select SUBTOTALS. In the dialog box
select the name field from the combobox list for AT EACH CHANGE IN, select
COUNT as the function to use from the USE FUNCTION combobox and check off the
name field in the ADD SUBTOTAL TO list box & click OK.

Counts appear after each name grouping right below the name field

I have a list of names in a spreadsheet. I want to know how do I sort these
names in number of occurances i.e if "Fred" occurs 7 times in a list of 50, I
want it to tell me in specific cells " Fred 7 ", "Jack 6", "Alison 6 ",
"Mary 5" etc. Any help will be most appretiated.
