Default Saving a Chart

In the web page I cited, scroll down a screen or two to the section entitled
"Unlink the Chart Series from Worksheet Data".

How do I unlink the chart??

Looks like your caps lock button is stuck.

You can:

1. copy the sheet that contains the chart and its data, so you maintain a
live historical chart (connected to real data) and add data to the copied
sheet.

2. copy the chart and unlink it from the data:

3. copy a picture of the chart (hold shift, select the Edit menu, use
Copy Picture, select the On Screen and Picture options) and paste it in
the sheet.

Suppose I have a chart with, for example, data in it as follows (source
data):

A1:A20

Every so often, I REWRITE over that same range new data...and create a
new
chart!!

HOW CAN I SAVE MY PRE-EXISTING CHART, i.e. WITH THE OLD DATA??

Thanks,
