Default duplicate workbooks open while working in that file
Sounds like you're looking at several "windows" of the same workbook. Does
the workbook name end in :1 and :2 and :3? If so, close the workbook WITH THE
X in the upper right corner. When this makes the :x disappear, save the
workbook
