Try this:

Cost = Price * (1 + VAT_Rate)
Price = Cost / (1 + VAT_Rate)
Price = 120 / (1 + 0.15)
Price = 104.347826086957

VAT_Amount = Cost - Price
VAT_Amount = 120 - 104.347826086957
VAT_Amount = 15.6521739130435
