Default Pivot Table from Access DB

I can't replicate your problem, however there are a handful of links on the
MS support site that might offer something:

Tim,

Following are the exact steps I took after creating the MS Access database
table.
1. From Excel, select Pivot Table
2. Select External Data Source
3. Get Data
4. Choose Data Source, I selected MS Access
5. Select Database, I selected the .mdb file I created
6. Add table, I selected the table which I called "2007YTD"
7. A window entitled Microsoft Query opened with the message "Can't access
table 2007YTD".

I'm dealing with a spreadsheet which will soon exceed the number of
allowable
rows. I've found that using a Pivot Table is a great way to organize
and
analyze all of this data.

I thought I'd be clever by importing the data to Access and create a
table,
then go into Excel run the Pivot Table using external data, select the
table
in my database, and do my thing. But, I get a query error in Excel
saying
it
can't access the table.

Why not?
