Hi Ali,

What you are describing sounds like Conditional Formatting...

select your range to be formatted

FormatConditional Formating.

And set your conditional formatting to..

Cell Value IsEqual to001 Format as Green

Click Add and set your 2nd condition

You can have 3 conditions set like this with XL2003
