Default Scrolling with mouse wheel crashes

And it doesn't crash if you scroll using pgup/pgdn or using the vertical
scrollbar?

Does it crash on all your workbooks or just a particular workbook?

Do you have lots of objects in that worksheet? Maybe it's a display problem?

Does it happen if you start excel in safe mode?

Close excel
windows start button|Run
excel /safe

Then test a bit

No. I don't have any good guesses, but maybe more information will help someone
else help you????

If swapping anything out was an option, it would be Excel 2007.

It may seem to be too obvious but have you tried another mouse?

Does anyone else have Excel crash when they try to scroll with the mouse
wheel?

It's very annoying, I had about 10 crash reports yesterday because I'm so
used to the scroll wheel. I simply scroll up or down several times with
the
wheel and Excel will eventually crash.
