Default Filter by a Date that link to a cell

You can use Data Filter Advanced Filter feature. In two consecutive rows
that do not risk to disappear when you apply a filter (it simply makes your
life easier when a filter is already applied and you want to change the date),
put in the top cell the column name of your dates and below the date value
with a comparison operator like , < or =. Something like B1 and B2:
Date Of Shipment
=13-Aug-2007

Then select the range to filter (example A4:X456), and click on Data Filter
Advanced Filter, and put in the criteria the range of the two cells above

(B1:B2). To speed up the process, you can add to one toolbar the command Data
Filter Advanced Filter, so in two click (one on the button, then one on

OK in the new window) you will have a semi-automated system.
