Default Margins & print preview

If you search on "default new sheet" in XL Help, you can find out how to
do this in the "Create a template for workbooks or worksheets" topic...

I like to get the most data on a sheet for printing without micro type. I
therefore expand the margins, left and right and make the header/footer as
small as possible. I have to continually do this with each new sheet. Is
there a way to permanently change this as the default "New" sheet ?? TIA
