Default What would cause the formula auditing toolbar to be grayed out?

Or he could just right click any tab and select ungroup

You have more than one worksheet selected.

That's why the [Group] in the title bar.

The grouped sheets tabs should be white.

Make note of which tabs are grouped.

Click on any non-white tab to get out of group mode.

Note: While grouped, whatever you did to one sheet in the group will have
been
done to all.

Check carefully for inadvertant entries and other functions you may have
done.

I have a workbook where the following is occuring:
1) The formula Auditing toolbar is grayed out
2) The title now includes [Group], but no sharing has been enabled
3) The protection options: Protect Sheet, and Allow users to edit ranges
are grayed out.

I have tried repairing the file with no results.
Any suggestions?
