Personal.xls is stored in your XLSTART folder.

Most commonly at this path.........

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART

Make sure you are not set to hide files/folders under My ComputerToolsFolder
OptionsView

When found, make a copy.
