Ok, no problem, I found the answer in Google. You have to use X-Y scatter
type of plot.

Sorry, I should have tried there first.

Hi,

Is Excel capable of drawing a graph? This is a very common requirement
with experimental data.

For example, I have data:

Value 1 Value 2
3.1 101
5.7 180
6.2 143
7.9 93
10.5 108
etc.

This data represents a single line graph. Value 1 is the x-values and
Value 2 is the y-values. It is a single function. Can Excel do this? It
seems to me that Excel insists on having equally spaced x-values, and
would treat this data as 2 data series, or at best one of the series could
be used as X labels.

Thanks,
Theo
