In Excel 2003 advanced filtering is one the functions that is not available
in a shared workbook (though autofilter still is). This is a pity as advanced
filtering is an excellent tool for data retrieval in large workbooks.

My question is: does anyone know if this limitation is still part of Excel
2007?
