Are you using some non-standard font? If a font used in a workbook does not
exist on another machine, that machine will attempt to use a "closest match"
font from, if possible, the same font family. The results are mixed. Try
using only standard Windows fonts like Arial or Time New Roman.

instead has a wierd font I'll call rock/paper/scissors. The fonts are not
numbers but symbols that include scissors, hands, and other things. If the
cursur is on the cell, the actual number is in the little box at the top,

the pictures are in the cells.
I've had the people email them back to me, but when I open them up,
everything is normal.
I've emailed the book to three different personal email accounts I have,

used two different PCs, one XP Pro, and one old laptop with ME on it, and
the
workbooks are fine on either computer.
The problem users all have XP Pro. They are not only internal to this
company, but our customers as well. But not everybody's computer exhibits
this issue.
I've been using Excel for, well, ever. I've never had this problem before.
How can I fix this?
