For your first question:

=COUNTIF(C4:AJ4,"?*")&" - "&COUNTIF(C4:AJ4,"X*")

Also I can't seem to get this formula to add 20 instead its adding 1 only
=COUNTIF(C4:AJ4,"X*")

Not sure what that means? The result should be 20 but it's only returning 1?
