Default Conditional Formatting to Change Cell Alignment?

Don't worry about it. I've done it before and will probably do it again. :)

Thanks, Barb. I got hung up on using conditional formatting and forgot that
I can use the Find/Replace to do that.

Is this something that changes or is it fixed with the workbook.

You could do a global search for TOTAL and align the found cells the way
you want if it's fixed.

I need to change the alignment of certain cells in a spreadsheet, based on
their content. For example, if the cell contains the text "Total", I need it
to be right aligned, but if it says "Department", I need it left aligned. I
can't see a way to do this using conditional formatting. Any ideas?
