forumla return values. they cannot perform actions like
copy, paste, add values to another cell or workbook ect.
you are looking at a macro to do this.

I need a formula that will automatically add an amount to

criteria is date related. I only want amounts to be
added to the first
quarter total IF the date that amount is paid is between
1/1/05 and 3/31/05.
There will be more than one amount for each designation
