Maybe it's only a display problem.

If you close and reopen, does it look ok?

Maybe selecting the range and
edit|Replace
what: =
with: =
replace all

will force excel to notice that it's a hyperlink

(Just guesses)

showed up. But it only showed as a hyperlink after you clicked away from the

If yes, then the "hyperlinkness" is lost when the pivottable is built.

If you're not pivotting too much, maybe you could add another column/row/cell
with a formula like:

=hyperlink(a3)
(if the cell's value shows the hyperlink address, that is)
