Default Gridlines disappear when I use color fill

You're welcome, I don't remember, but Peo says no it's not new.

Thanks for your help! I don't remember this happening in older versions - is
this a new feature in 2003?

When I color fill a cell, the gridlines disappear. I realize that I can use
borders, but they are much bolder than the gridlines, and somewhat
distracting. Is there any way to get the gridlines to show through the color
fill. Thanks for your help.

Nope, just change the border color, to Grey 25% for instance.
