Suggestion: Excel needs a swap option.
Hi Mark,
You would be expected to such things in a macro.
Perhaps you simplified your example from what you actually
wanted but since it ended up as complete rows being swapped
you can do that simply with the mouse, see
Use of Mouse and keys to move, and insert rows or columns
http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/fillhand.htm#mouse
see following beginning at "move a row"

Excel needs an option to easily swap two cells, rows, or columns. They
obviously would need to be the same size, number of cells, etc. It's such a
pain to do so now, as, for example, I have to create a new row, copy/paste
the data into it, copy/paste the other data over the original data, then go
back and delete the original row...
