Default colours missing in conditional formatting.

Does any other background color show up or just the CF'd cells?

Perhaps this may shed some light if all color is not showing.

The fill color, the fill pattern, or the line color of a WordArt or
AutoShape object in an Office document does not change

As directed, change the colleague's High Contrast setting in Windows OS

Can anyone give some pointers as to why a spreadsheet containing conditional
formatting displays as expected on my PC, yet when opened by a colleague

though the values and CF is unchanged. Both PCs ar using Excel 2003.
